The Race Across Series concept:
Semi-autonomous ultra-distance, for everyone.
Ultra-distance accessible to all - discover the Race Across concept
Race Across is a series of ultra-cycling events designed to make ultra-distance cycling accessible to as many people as possible. On courses ranging from 200km to 2,500km on the road and 800km to 300km on the gravel, cyclists ride semi-autonomously, day and night, through spectacular landscapes.
Bases for living: No assistance on the course, but bases for living living bases where you can rest, refuel or repair your bike. Assistance is authorized at these points only.
Safety: Each participant is equipped with a GPS, guaranteeing real-time tracking for safety, transparency and the experience of those around them. A team is on hand 24/7.
Drive, we take care of everything: Luggage transport, dropbag, meals, our team and volunteers are there for you.
Our promise: experience an intense and authentic adventure, alone or as a duo or team, whatever your level. With Race Across, ultra-cycling becomes a personal, supervised and inspiring exploration.
The PGO: Your guardian angel
In the shadow of each Race Across, the Operational Management Station (OMS) keeps a constant watch. A veritable race HQ, it centralizes everything:
đĄ Real-time GPS tracking for each participant
đ Checking compliance with rules, such as mandatory rest times
âïž 24-hour assistance in case of need or unforeseen circumstances on the road
The PGO is your guarantee of a safe, fair and worry-free adventure.
Invisible but essential, it accompanies every pedal stroke and remains connected to all cyclists, right up to the finish line.
Bases de vie: oases in the heart of ultracycling
At the heart of the ultra-distance adventure, when the road seems endless and each pedal stroke becomes heavier, the life bases appear as real oases for the cyclists. These essential checkpoints on the Race Across offer a smile, a hot meal, a sympathetic ear.
These are simple but vital places for any ultracyclist: where you can sleep for a few hours, nurse a tired body and meet up with other adventurers who share the same challenge. Here, solitary effort becomes collective, and each stage becomes an unforgettable memory.
Much more than mere logistical stops, the living bases are refuges for mind and body, crossroads of stories where the soul of each ultra-distance race is built...
Assistance is allowed on every Basecamp : plan it wisely. Whether it's material support or simple moral reassurance, they'll be invaluable allies in seeing your adventure through to the end.
Logistics & baggage transport
Because an adventure like the Race Across doesn't just happen on the bike, we can also help you with all the logistics.
Luggage transport: your personal belongings are taken care of and transported from one Basecamp to the next, so that you find your belongings at every stage.
Practical organization: our team makes sure that every bag follows your progress and is available in the right place at the right time.
Relaxed travel: focus on your sporting challenge, we'll take care of the rest.
Logistics designed to lighten your load, allowing you to ride lighter and enjoy the Race Across experience to the full.
